While the assassination attempt against Donald Trump seemed to prove what we’ve all suspected for years now — that he’s literally bullet-proof — a deep dive into his astrology shows a second term as president is anything but guaranteed.
Here’s why: The astrology of the next nine months shares striking similarities with the most humiliating, costly and destructive moments of Trump’s life. While his luck hasn’t completely run out this year, he’ll need to face some formidable karma.
In some ways, astrologically, this era is a redux of Trump’s 90’s nightmare, when his marriage, his public profile and his financial empire all collapsed. Then, like now, Trump boldly spun every failure as a win. That will get increasingly more difficult as the months progress1.
Even as soon as August, the astrology threatens a financial collapse with echoes of August 1991 when Trump was unloading the first in a series of grand properties to avoid personal bankruptcy.2 September’s astrology, meanwhile, suggests the beginning of a months-long doomed battle. By October, the specter of October 2016 is revived, bringing a surprise that could rival that year’s release of the Access Hollywood tape.3
The worse things get for him, as we’ve learned, the more Trump will double down. This year’s astrology confirms that. While enormous debts press upon his every move, his confidence may appear to be sky-high. If history and past astrology are instructive, the public will witness some of his most self-destructive behavior to date, especially in the weeks following the election.
Career chaos and Trump’s willful impulses are ratcheted up to act-of-God levels, from now through May 2025, threatening to upend his reputation and his physical well-being with out-of-the-blue breakdowns.4
These are bold assertions, I know. But they come after a months-long astrological assessment of more than 30 of the worst moments in Trump’s life. This investigation showed a consistent correlation between major traumas and transits, lunations and eclipses at 20°-29° Cardinal signs.
From the separation from his mother at age 2 and his exile to military school at 13 to his 2020 re-election loss and the near-miss of a would-be assassin’s bullet in July 2024, these degrees stand out every time. From Oct. 15, 2024 to April 12, 2025, including Inauguration Day 2025, these degrees will be activated again.5
This signature joins an already abundant array of difficult transits and progressions in Trump’s astrology.6 His focus, as the months progress, will be all-out war against the threat of rejection.
Does Trump’s Good Luck (and Money) Run Out?
While his cult of personality endures, karma has already caught up with Trump this year, a signature of the transit of Saturn in Pisces from March 2023 to February 2026. In the 90s, this transit correlated with Trump’s billion-dollar losses and bankruptcies and his messy divorce from Ivana Trump, the mother of three of his children.
This year, he has been swamped by civil fraud penalties totaling nearly $600 million and about $10 million in legal fees. He couldn’t meet the $454 million bond set by a New York court in February and is barred from running any New York business for three years. He became a convicted felon in May for covering up his hush money payments to a porn star. Four other criminal cases are in limbo following a presidential immunity ruling in July by the U.S Supreme Court. But by March 2025, we can expect more bills and more litigation.7
Meanwhile, at this writing in July 2024, Trump is still drawing huge crowds and, in some polls, is still beating Kamala Harris by a hair. Without astrology, this makes no sense.
But Trump is a special case there as well. He was born blessed, when the fortunate fixed star Regulus was on the horizon, on a Sagittarius Lunar Eclipse with the natal North Node conjunct his Gemini Sun, the ruler of his Leo Ascendant. Despite his best efforts at self-sabotage, he comes out ahead almost every time. Somehow, he manages to dodge the bullet.
And this year, the gods are clearly shining on him as transiting Jupiter in Gemini amplifies that luckiest part in his natal chart. This is the same transit at work when he married Ivana Trump in 1977, when he built the billion-dollar Trump Taj Mahal in 1989 and when a group of New York Republicans asked him to run for governor in 2013, (though he polled far worse than Andrew Cuomo).
But even then, Jupiter in Gemini seemed more likely to inflate his expectations than guarantee success. His marriage to Ivana blew up during the transit in 1989 because Trump was having an affair with Marla Maples. Taj Mahal went bankrupt barely a year after it opened. And while the Republicans were courting him in 2013, Trump University was sued for fraud, eventually costing Trump $25 million.
This year, the ballooning ego that comes with transit Jupiter on his Sun-North Node conjunction could bring epic blowback. Karma, in the form of Saturn in Pisces, is poised to correct any deviation from the righteous path.
In the past, this same transit of Jupiter, in 1989 especially, has exaggerated Trump’s impulses to be his own worst enemy. And during his last Saturn in Pisces transit, from May 1993 to April 1996, his unchecked egotism brought swift – and financial – consequences. His 1995 tax filings declared a $900 million loss.
Now, he’s getting a good dose of both. 8
Trump’s Achilles Gets A Kick
Consider the list of below. Every one of these dates activated the two weakest places in Trump’s otherwise robust natal chart. When these places are activated again, we can expect similar events of Trump’s failure or self-destruction. Or both. The next time these places are inflamed are: Oct. 17, on Inauguration Day 2025 and then again late March and early April, 2025.9
Twelfth house placements are unclaimed facets of self that can operate in the shadows, in self-destructive ways. These are the secrets we keep from ourselves. For Trump, these placements represent his greatest liability: his unquenchable, unconscious thirst for love and money and the infantile ways he goes about guaranteeing it.

In the sign of Cancer, this alignment produces the quintessential CEO of the family business, willing to do whatever it takes to protect the tribe. The Venusian warmth of meaningful connection is calcified or commodified by Saturn, inhibiting generosity until all affection becomes conditional or transactional.
This alignment has been activated in at least four of the two dozen sexual assaults involving Trump.
The second most vulnerable point in Trump’s chart is his natal Chiron. This planetoid represents where he’s most sensitive to rejection or suffering. It represents the original childhood wounding that he spends a lifetime attempting to heal.
In the sign of Libra, Trump’s Chironic wound is tied to appearances, popularity, fairness and approval — all Libran themes. His need for these is bottomless. His sense of self is so fragile, so attached to the public perception of him, that without an adoring crowd, he ceases to exist.
His Libra placements represent his missionary zeal to preserve his popularity. It’s his conviction that he’s fighting the good fight. And it’s his unrelenting sales pitch maintained to drown out his self-doubt. All of this speaks to the placement of these planets in the 3rd Whole Sign house, where we articulate our perception of reality.
When this place is challenged by transit, Trump slips easily into the role of martyr and ideologue, willing to play fast and loose with the facts as a means of preserving his good PR. This is dark Libra energy.
There’s a loop in Trump’s psyche that always lands with that unmet desire for love, that deep unconscious fear of rejection, from women especially.10 It was this alignment - during the 1996 return of Chiron to its natal placement of 14° Libra – that he sexually assaulted E. Jean Carroll in a department store dressing room, an attack that ultimately cost him $83 million.
In January 2017, Trump was inaugurated during his Jupiter return, one of the most fortunate astrological moments for anyone. Back then, the healing power of transit Jupiter bathed Trump’s Chiron wound in approval.
On Inauguration Day 2025, however, the same grace won’t be available to Trump. Instead, his outsized belief in himself – as Jupiter exaggerates his entitlement to the throne – will be thwarted by forces outside his control as transit Mars retrograde conjoins his 12th Whole Sign Venus-Saturn placement. His status is on the shakiest of ground, poised to be completely reversed, a signature of Uranus retrograde on the Midheaven.
His worst fears of rejection are aggravated and inflamed as Mars retrogrades over the most insecure part of his personality. The last quarter Moon is casting its diminishing light over his insatiable need for popular appeal, encouraging him to let it go. It’s hard to imagine Inauguration Day being anything but a disappointment for Trump.
Amazing piece of work Gina, thank you!
this is incredible! Thank you ♥️🙏♥️
